Addition Springwood
Brief:
This architecturally designed home in Springwood, built by the client, required additional living space and a refresh to modernise the existing areas. The goal was to seamlessly blend the new additions with the home’s original character while introducing contemporary functionality and style.
Outcome:
A ground-floor extension was designed and constructed to match the existing structure, featuring exposed timber beams in the ceiling to maintain the architectural integrity. A spacious new kitchen was installed, combining modern design elements with practicality, including a large island bench, pendant lighting, and sleek cabinetry. The existing bathroom and en-suite were fully renovated, refreshing the spaces with updated fixtures, finishes, and layouts that prioritise both style and functionality.
The new kitchen and dining area showcase a blend of natural textures, with exposed brick walls, polished surfaces, and timber accents creating a warm yet sophisticated aesthetic. This renovation ensures the home is ready for modern living while preserving its unique architectural charm.
